Each watch takes its colours from the superhero films so many of us grew up with, but there are no logos, no characters and nothing printed on the dial except our own mark. The nod is there for those who know. To everyone else it is simply a well-made watch with character, so it can be worn almost anywhere: at work, at dinner, at the weekend.
Made properly, by hand
Every Slaidburn is assembled by hand in our Whitechapel workshop in London, from premium parts ordered to our own specification, and never outsourced. Inside is the Miyota 8215, a Japanese automatic movement trusted for decades: it winds itself as it is worn, so there is no battery to replace.
Each design is made in an edition of 100 and never again, and every watch carries our lifetime guarantee: for as long as he owns it, we will fix anything we can, free.
Which one for him
Red One pairs a red web-cut dial with a black bezel, on ivory or navy leather. Black One is black on black and goes with everything. Cobalt is the most colourful of the collection, for a son who likes to stand out.
Giving it
Add our gift box and a card with your own words at checkout for £20, and we can send it straight to him. Order by 15 December for UK delivery and it will arrive before Christmas. If it isn’t quite right, there are 14 days to return it.
